Abstract

English Abstract

no abstracts available; The application of 4 different measures to increase the habitat quality for farmland birds are presented. Lucerne on unused areas, unused fields with ‘self-greening’, growing of summer wheat in double distance as well as the growing of winter wheat in double distance all had positive effects on the birds. Overall “lucerne” was the type of area in which most bird individuals were found (9 times more than in the control areas of conventionally cultivated fields), followed by ‘self-greening’, ‘summer wheat’ and ‘winter wheat’ in that order.
