NAEnglish Abstract
The controlling of invasive species at Csengődi Plain, which is part of Bugac-Bócsa area in Kiskunsági National Park started in 2009. The objective of our project was to control 90 per cent of black locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia), tree of heaven (Ailanthus altissima) and common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca). As for arboreals, the chemical weed control was implemented by spreading of trunks and stumps or by drilling of trunks. In case of herbaceous species, it was carried out by spreading and spraying plants. Surveys show that treatment has been 80 per cent effective in case of black locust and tree of heaven, and regarding common milkweed, it has been 70 per cent successful.
