English Abstract

About 100 pairs of Grey Partridge were released from autumn 1989 to spring 1991; 27 of these were fitted with radio-transmitters. The most important mortality cause is shooting (51%), followed by wild predators (27%) and dome- stic animals (15% – See fig. 1). The average survival is shown in fig. 2 and 3. Significative correlation exists between sex and survival: females survive more than males (p < 0,025).The results of this research consist in 6-10 breeding pairs in the study area.
