English Abstract

In the period between August-October 2007 and 2008 a project of re-introduction of grey partridge was started in the Rossa and Frasassi Gorge Nature Park. During two years, 750 90-120 day old grey partridges were released in the wild inside the pro- tected area. The average survival time of radiotagged individuals was 33 (2007) and 40,7 (2008) days. Flock’s endurance in March was 15,4% (2007) and 11% (2008) and flock’s structure was retained for 120,3 and 175,6 days (media). The medium dispersal area was 35 (SD 44) (2007) and 289 (SD 322) hectares (2008), the aver- age distance of grey partridge from the release point was 251 (SD 475) and 490 (SD 1110) m.
